Crash Dive 2 (Original Title: Counter Measures ) is an American feature film from 1999 . It is the sequel to the action film Crash Dive from 1997. The main role played again Michael Dudikoff , but this time not as war sailor James Carter, but as Captain Jake Fuller. Directed by Fred Olen Ray . The content plays according to a similar pattern as part 1.
action
Captain Jake Fuller is part of the United States Navy Seals' elite unit . A man who never torches, but hits straight away. The NATO representative Zack Silver wants to make a routine trip through the Indian Ocean with the latest nuclear powered (again fictitious) Russian high-tech submarine "Odessa". But the idyll is deceptive, because suddenly unscrupulous terrorists come on board to sell the submarine to the Iraqi government. Jack Fuller is put on the case. He also comes on board with an ROV Scorpio underwater robot. Fuller begins a merciless one-man army fight against the pirates, because the Odessa is to be bombed as soon as possible. A fatal mistake: If that should happen, there would be enormous human losses, since Odessa can emit enough radioactive rays to destroy all of Asia . In the ultimate showdown, Fuller can save the lives of billions of people and bring down those responsible.
