Mary Cristy
Mary Christy (* 21st July 1952 in Differdange as Maria Christina Ruggeri ) is a French pop - and chanson singer and later stage actress .
As a young Luxembourger she sang German-language hits under the name Marie-Tina and later Marie-Christina . She came to Paris in the early 1970s and then sang French chansons as Mary Cristy . She was appointed by the radio broadcaster Radio Europe 1 to contribute to Monaco for the Eurovision Song Contest 1976 in The Hague . With the chanson Toi, la musique et moi , she reached third place. After her record contract expired in the late 1970s, she was mostly active as a theater actress under the name Marie Ruggeri .
