history

In the 16-point report of the Brandenburg-Ansbach Oberamt Colmberg from 1608, a team was recorded for "Laymühle" that had the Commander Rothenburg of the Teutonic Order as landlord . The High Court exercised the Vogtamt Colmberg . In the 16-point report of the Colmberg Oberamt from 1681, the imperial city of Rothenburg was specified as the landlord for "Leinmühle" .

At the end of the 18th century there was only one property in Leimbachsmühle. The High Court continued to exercise the Colmberg Vogtamt. The property was owned by the imperial city of Rothenburg as the landlord. From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice Office Leutershausen and Chamber Office Colmberg .

In the geographical statistical-topographical lexicon of Franconia (1801) the place is described as follows: “Leinbachsmühl, so named by the Leinbach stream, a quarter of an hour from Gastenfelden, where it is parish. The Fraisch is Brandenburg, the Vogtey Rothenburgisch. Two thirds belong to Brandenburg and one third to Hohenlohe Schillingsfürst. The mill, which belongs to Rothenburg, provides 4 services and provides 1 wagon. "

As part of the community edict, Leimbachsmühle was assigned to the Buch am Wald tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Buch am Wald, founded in 1810 . With the second community edict (1818), Leimbachsmühle was re-incorporated into the newly formed rural community of Hagenau . On January 1, 1974, this was incorporated into Buch am Wald as part of the regional reform .
