In addition to the residential building that carries house no. 6 in the village of Berbersbach , the wasteland also consists of four outbuildings. The place is on the Berbersbach , which is a left tributary of the Hagenbach . A service road leads past the Rufenmühle to Berbersbach (0.3 km south).

history

Towards the end of the 18th century, the birch mill belonged to Berbersbach. The mill had the Brandenburg-Ansbach Abbey Office in Ansbach as the landlord . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the birch mill was given house number 6 in Berbersbach. From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice Office Leutershausen and Chamber Office Colmberg .

As part of the municipal edict, Birkenmühle was assigned to the Buch am Wald tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Buch am Wald, founded in 1810 . With the second community edict (1818), Birkenmühle was re-incorporated into the newly formed rural community of Hagenau . On January 1, 1974, this was incorporated into Buch am Wald as part of the regional reform .
