Sengelhof is a district of the municipality of Buch am Wald in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

Immediately south of the hamlet is the Effnerwald, to the east is a golf course and approx. 0.5 km to the west is the Kohlplatte. The district road AN 7 leads to Schönbronn on state road 2249 (1 km northeast) or to Neuweiler (1.2 km southwest).

history

In the 16-point report of the Brandenburg-Ansbach Oberamt Colmberg from the year 1608, a farm is recorded for Sengelhof that belonged to a Mr Openner zu Erlbach freiigen . The High Court exercised the Vogtamt Colmberg . In the 16-point report of the Colmberg Oberamt from 1681, the manorial conditions are unchanged. The high court was disputed by Hohenlohe-Schillingsfürst and finally ceded to them by contract in 1710.

As part of the municipality Edict (early 19th century.) Was Sengelhof the control district and Rural community guest Felden assigned. In the course of the regional reform , this was incorporated into Buch am Wald on January 1, 1974.
