Schönbronn is a part of the municipality of Buch am Wald in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The village is located on the Leimbach, which flows together with the Traisdorf Bach to the Hagenbach, a right tributary of the Altmühl . Immediately south of the village is the Rothenburg-Schönbronn Golf Park, with Roßholz in the north.

The national road 2249 leads to Kirn Berg (4 km northwest) or after Hagenau (km east 3.5). The district road AN 7 leads past Sengelhof to Neuweiler (2.2 km southwest). A community road leads past the Froschmühle to a community road (1.3 km east), which runs to Morlitzzüge (0.6 km north) or to the St 2249 (0.8 km south).

history

In 1802 there were 24 subject families, all of which belonged to the Hohenlohe office of Schillingsfürst .

As part of the municipality Edict (early 19th century) Schönbronn was the control district and Rural community guest Felden assigned. In the course of the regional reform , this was incorporated into Buch am Wald on January 1, 1974.

Architectural monuments

  • House No. 1: Hessing'sches Gut, stately three-wing complex, the two main wings with crested hip and gable turret, cast-iron balconies, late 19th century
  • House No. 13: residential building; ground floor half-timbered extension, first half of the 19th century
  • House No. 17: Memorial to Friedrich von Hessing (1838–1918), portrait niche above a wall pillar, around 1920; at the birthplace of Friedrich von Hessing.

The inhabitants of the Evangelical-Lutheran denomination were originally parish to St. Bartholomäus (Diebach) , since 1821 they are parish to St. Maria Magdalena (Gastenfelden) . The inhabitants of the Roman Catholic denomination are parish after the exaltation of the cross (Schillingsfürst) .
