history

In the 16-point report of the Brandenburg-Ansbach Oberamt Colmberg from 1681 8 teams are recorded for Neuweiler, all of which had the imperial city of Rothenburg as their landlord . The High Court was exercised by the Colmberg Vogtamt , but this was disputed by Hohenlohe-Schillingsfürst . In 1710 Neuweiler was assigned to Hohenlohe-Schillingsfürst by contract.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were nine community rights in the village, all of which were vogtable to the imperial city of Rothenburg .

With the community edict (early 19th century), Neuweiler was assigned to the tax district Bellershausen and the rural community Faulenberg . In the course of the regional reform , Neuweiler was incorporated into Schillingsfürst on January 1, 1977.
