history

The place was first mentioned in 1837 as "Ratzenburg". The property should have existed a little longer, however, as it has house no. 227 from Schillingsfürst, while Fischhaus , which was already mentioned in 1818, received house no. 228, so it could not have been founded until after Ratzenburg. The property included 1  ha of arable land and 0.5 ha of orchards . In 1847 the renaming to "Marienhof" was approved. Until 1867, however, it was also named after the old name.

Marienhof belonged to Schillingsfürst from the beginning.
