Cronus Airlines was a Greek airline that was acquired by Aegean Airlines in 2001 .

history

Cronus Airlines was founded in 1995 and began flight operations with Boeing 737 aircraft. Mainly foreign destinations have been linked with tourist destinations in Greece. In 2001, Cronus Airlines merged with the also private Aegean Airlines to form Aegean Cronus Airlines. Cronus held a little less than 25% of the new company. The airline has now been completely renamed Aegean Airlines.
