Reviews

According to the journalist Francis Chenot, the writing by Deborah Heissler “is nourished by the fundamental voices of contemporary French poetry”, of which Yves Bonnefoy , André du Bouchet , Gustave Roud or Philippe Jaccottet would be the “mediators” after Richard Blin. The latter adds that through the “poems of liberation” given for reading, which form the origin of a voice from the transformation, to which the “pulse of absence” or “the inner resonance of what no longer exists”, they set the pace , both designates, describes and delimits that which passes and separates and presents her poems as "a challenge to the void" which she continually renews.

Dominique Sorrente, for his part, notes that in her collections, in which references to music and painting alternate, Deborah Heissler's writing is above all an “act of justice” or “a play of nuances and harmonies”.
