DJ Miko

DJ Miko is a dance project of the Italian keyboardist and producer Quartobaro manner and from the British county of Kent coming singer Louise Gard.

Career

Coinciding with the debut single What's Up , which was produced by the Italians Max Artusi and Ricky Stecca, had DJ Miko end of 1993 first success in his home country, the following year, finally, in the United Kingdom and the United States. The dance version of the 4-Non-Blondes hit reached the Top 20 on the Billboard Dance Charts in April, but also rose to number 58 on the Billboard Hot 100 in June and stayed in this hit list for 20 weeks. In August of that year, the single made it into the top 10 of the UK charts and climbed to number 6.

In the following years DJ Miko released various singles, including his own songs and other cover versions , such as B. Donna Summers Hot Stuff and The Knacks My Sharona . Another chart success was not achieved. In 1999 the act's only album , The Last Millennium, was released . In the course of the 2000s, several collaborations with other artists came on the market, including a mashup with Max Deejay , consisting of DJ Miko's version of What's Up and Queens We Will Rock You .
