DJ Pierre (* 13. August 1974 in Arolsen , † 12. December 2012 in Offenbach am Main , real name Pierre Blaszczyk ) was a German techno - DJ -musician.

Life

Pierre's DJ career began in Eschwege in northern Hesse , where he organized a weekly techno event called Space Factory as a resident DJ in the Fabrik disco . DJ Pierre was best known as a resident DJ in the Kassel club Aufschwung Ost (1994–1997), which was later renamed Stammheim (1997 to 2002). He was also a DJ in the clubs Omen , Tresor and U60311 . He appeared regularly on the radio show hr3 Clubnight .

Together with DJ Marky, also resident DJ from Stammheim, he founded the two record labels HoerSpielMusik and Utils . Together they released some EPs under the synonym Nagen & Saugen . Productions by Heiko Laux and Chris Liebing were created on the HoerSpielMusik label . On the label Utils , which was intended for music of the harder pace, productions by Toktok and The Advent were created . The first production was from DJ Rush .

In 2001 and 2002 he was named one of the top 10 national DJs by Groove Magazine . The magazine Raveline chose Heimfidelity Vol.1 for Compilation of the Month 3/98. The mix-compilation Heimfidelity Vol.6 - ExPIERREiments was created together with the DJ Pierre from Belgium of the same name .

He died of an asthma attack on December 12, 2012 at the age of 38 .
