DJ Bully (* 23. September 1972 in Flensburg , civic Thomas Jensen ) is a Hip-Hop and House - DJ and music producer from Germany.

biography

At the beginning of the 1990s, DJ Rabauke was a member of the Flensburg band An der Grenz . Martin Schrader ( Doc Renz ) from the Hamburg hip-hop band Fettes Brot describes in the booklet of the double album Fettes Brot für die Welt the first encounter with a bully as follows:

“The Flensburg bands [...] and An der Grenz [...] were also part of the line-up, and we were delighted with the nimble performance that the DJ [...] put on. When [...] the recordings for Nordisch by Nature were due in Hamburg, we called [...] the [...] fox from the Danish border and invited him to the studio. "

From 1994 to 1998 Rabauke was a tour DJ for the performances of Fettes Brot , in the studio he was responsible for the scratches and cuts of Fettes Brot. At some Fettes-Brot concerts, the hip-hop combo Arme Ritter was there as support, which is how Rabauke got to know the rapper Dendemann . Together they recorded their first demo in 1997 and founded the hip-hop duo Eins Zwo . They released an EP , two albums and five singles by 2003 . From 2003 on, they went their separate ways.

In the following years Rabauke created remixes for well-known bands such as Sportfreunde Stiller , Tocotronic , Tomte , Virginia Jetzt , Stereo Total , and Röyksopp . In 2003 he worked on his first EP, which should contain electronic and dance music, for which he was looking for a publisher. In 2004 he had a solo show at the Melt - Festival .

In 2010 the compilation " Deichkind presents Papa Professionell" was published by Buback Tonträger , in which Rabauke was also involved. The Südwestpresse reviewed: “With the song collection [...] the Hamburg pop extremists bow to the work of their producer Sebastian Hackert , who died last year at the age of 32 . DJ Rabauke goes to extremes. "
