Dachsberg is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of St. Georgen an der Leys in the Scheibbs district ( Lower Austria ).

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 74 building areas with 31,734 m² and 45 gardens on 188,097 m² in the cadastral community of Dachsberg , in 1989/1990 there were 75 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 183 and in 2009/2010 there were 150 buildings on 184 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. At the turn of the year 1979/1980 541 hectares were used for agriculture and 377 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 493 hectares and 443 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 467 hectares were used as agricultural land and 452 hectares were forested. The average soil climate number of Dachsberg is 19.2 (as of 2010).
