Daingerfield is the county capital and seat of the county seat of Morris County in the US state of Texas in the United States .

history

In 1740, the first Europeans camped near a spring where the city is today. In 1830 Captain London Daingerfield, after whom the city was named, and around 100 men had a skirmish with Indians at this source, in which he fell.
