Daisuke Miyamoto ( Japanese 宮本 大 輔 , Miyamoto Daisuke ; born April 17, 1999 in Yamaguchi Prefecture ) is a Japanese athlete who specializes in sprinting .

Athletic career

Daisuke Miyamoto gained his first international experience at the 2015 World Youth Championships in Cali , where he finished seventh in the 100-meter run in 10.78 s. In 2018 he won the Junior Asian Championships in Gifu in 39.65 s with the Japanese 4 x 100 meter relay and won the silver medal over 100 meters in 10.35 s. He was then at the U20 World Championships in Tampere in 10.43 s eighth over 100 meters and finished fourth with the relay in 39.23 s. At the IAAF World Relays 2019 in Yokohama , he reached fifth place in the 4 x 200 meter relay in 1: 22.67 minutes. He then finished seventh at the Summer Universiade in Naples in 10.43 s and won the Japanese relay in 38.92 s.
