Bernd-Uwe Reppenhagen (born February 7, 1959 in Schwerin ) is a German actor .

Life

Bernd-Uwe Reppenhagen completed his acting training from 1980 to 1984 at the University of Film and Television "Konrad Wolf" in Potsdam - Babelsberg .

In 1989 he played the title role in Ivanov at the Rostock Volkstheater . From the 1989/90 season until the end of the 1991/92 season he was permanently engaged at the Anhaltisches Theater in Dessau , where he a. a. played the Marquis von Posa in Don Karlos (1989/90 season), Oberon / Theseus in A Midsummer Night's Dream (1990–1992) and Salieri in Amadeus (1991/92 season). As a guest he later appeared there a. a. as Clifford Bradshaw in the musical Cabaret (1995/96 season), as Caesar in Antonius und Cleopatra (1996) and from 1994 to 2008 repeatedly as " Faust " in Helmut Straßburger's production .

From 2002 to 2004 he was permanently engaged at the theater of the state capital Magdeburg . Oskar in Tales from the Vienna Woods (2002), Father Capulet in Romeo and Juliet (2002–2003) and Krogstad in Nora or A Puppet's House (2004) were among his main roles. From 2004 to 2005 he was a guest at the Dresden Comedy in a production by Jürgen Wölffer .

Reppenhagen took over the first film work at DEFA even before the " turnaround ". He worked for the cinema a. a. with directors such as Ralf Kirsten , Bernhard Stephan , Rolf Losansky , Margarethe von Trotta , Uli Edel and Juan Carlos Medina .

In the 1990s and 2000s he starred in episode roles in numerous television series. In the TV series For all cases Stefanie he played in a continuous series role from 1996 to 2001, the head of administration of the Luisenkrankenhaus Dr. Olaf Zehler. In the third season of the ZDF crime series SOKO Wismar (2005) he took on a leading role in the episode as the suspected brother of a murdered hunter. He embodied historical figures in two big two-part TV films: General Friedrich Olbricht in Stauffenberg - The True Story (2009) and the Nazi diplomat Ernst von Weizsäcker in God's mighty servant (2011).

Reppenhagen lives in Berlin .
