Daisy Bevan

Daisy Carmen Bevan (born March 28, 1992 ) is a British actress . She is the daughter of actress Joely Richardson and film producer Tim Bevan .

Life

Bevan comes from a family in which numerous members work in the theater or in film. Her parents are producer Tim Bevan and actress Joely Richardson , her grandparents are producer and director Tony Richardson and actress Vanessa Redgrave , and she is a niece of actors Liam Neeson and Natasha Richardson . Her great grandparents were actors Michael Redgrave and Rachel Kempson .

When Bevan was one year old, she was diagnosed with a rare circulatory disease that primarily affected her legs. As a result, when she was 15, she underwent multiple surgeries, which led her mother to postpone her role in the series Nip / Tuck for over a year. Bevan attended Bedales School in Hampshire . She received her acting training at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute in Manhattan .

She first appeared on screen in 1998, at the age of five, when she appeared in the film Elizabeth , produced by her father's production company. In 2001, she played the younger version of her mother in The Queen's Collar . In 2014 she appeared in Hossein Amini's The Two Faces of January .
