action

Rusty and Dallas have been best friends for years. They live together in a wrecked apartment, pulling off small rip-offs and bar fights together. But both are dissatisfied with the current situation and so Dallas is planning one last coup to get the big money. Rusty, on the other hand, dreams of disappearing with Dallas to Texas to earn a living with rodeo, like his father once did until he died in an accident.

Rusty's mother, Mary, is anything but enthusiastic about this venture. Rusty finds encouragement from the smoking psychologist Bob, Mary's partner, who gives him free lessons. So Rusty and Dallas try to convince each other of their plan, but neither Dallas, who is convinced of the infallibility of his plan, nor Rusty, who strictly refuses to go into the coup, give in. Rusty has to choose between Dallas and Mary, the two most important people in his life, and his big dream.
