Dallas Ehrhardt (born July 31, 1992 in Calgary , Alberta ) is a Canadian - British ice hockey player who has been under contract with Manchester Storm in the Elite Ice Hockey League since 2016 . His brother Travis played in the American Hockey League for many years .

Career

Dallas Ehrhardt began his career as a hockey player with the Calgary Northstars, a youth team from his hometown. In 2007, the Brandon Wheat Kings selected him in the fourth round of the WHL Bantam Draft as a total of 83 players. In 2009 he moved to the Wheat Kings in the Western Hockey League . In January 2010 he was drawn to league rival Moose Jaw Warriors , where he stayed for two and a half years. His last junior year he then played in the 2012/13 season with the Prince George Cougars, also in the WHL. In 2014, he won the Ray Miron President's Cup with the Allen Americans in the last season of the Central Hockey League before its dissolution . He then played for various ECHL teams until November 2015 , before going to Europe, where he ended the season at Club des Patineurs et Hockeyeurs Dijonnais , but could not avoid relegation from Ligue Magnus . In the 2016/17 season he moved to Manchester Storm in the British Elite Ice Hockey League , where he has been playing ever since.

International

Ehrhardt made his debut in the British national team at the 2018 World Cup , at which the British rose to the highest level of the World Championships for the first time since relegation in the 1994 world championships.
