Damerow is a district of the municipality Rollwitz in the district of Vorpommern-Greifswald in the east of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Germany).
geography
Damerow on the state border with Brandenburg is eight kilometers south of Pasewalk in a hilly area that gradually slopes down to the Uecker in the west. The region south of Pasewalk, like the entire northern Uckermark , is predominantly agricultural. The large number of wind turbines is striking .
history
On July 25, 1952, Damerow was detached from the Brandenburg district of Prenzlau , which was Prussian until 1945 , and assigned to the Pasewalk district in the Neubrandenburg district .
On January 1, 2012, the formerly independent community of Damerow was incorporated into Rollwitz.
Attractions
Remains of the grounds of the manor with the park of the von Winterfeld family (possibly based on a plan by a student of Lenné ). Damerow Castle is no longer preserved. The estate manager's house was repaired by the family.

The Ostseautobahn ( A 20 , exit Pasewalk-Süd ) passes east of Damerow . The next train station is four kilometers to the west in Nechlin (part of the Brandenburg municipality of Uckerland ).
