Daniel Blau Gallery

Daniel Blau is a gallery in Munich . It was opened in 1990 by Daniel Blau, the son of Georg Baselitz , in a Schwabing bakery. The gallery had been located on Maximilianstrasse since 1996 and moved to Odeonsplatz in 2004 for eleven years . The gallery has been back on Maximilianstrasse since 2015.

The gallery focuses on American and German art after 1960, contemporary art and photography from the 19th and 20th centuries. Blau is also a proven expert in the fields of tribal art and archeology .
