From Martin Nauer the brother Alois Lüönd was able to learn the old dances from Josef Stump , which Martin Nauer received from Balz Schmidig , who still played with Josef Stump himself. Around 1966, the second brother Paul Lüönd learned the Schwyzerörgeli . Then around 1970 the Schwyzerörgeliduo Lüönd was formed, which played at club events and small festivals.

In 1976 the youngest of the Mosi brothers learned the bass. As a result, the Schwyzerörgelitrio Mosibuebä was founded. In the 1970s it played a few times with Rees Gwerder and Paul Lüönd. The formation Mosibuebä existed from 1976 to 2014 and has meanwhile been strengthened to a Schwyzerörgel quartet with Daniel Gwerder and Philipp Schuler. All of Josef Stump and Balz Schmidig's dances as well as their own were passed on from musician to musician. Notes almost didn't exist and the musicians couldn't read them. There are now several music files from Mosibuebä and Paul Lüönd. On March 19, 2014, the Mosibuebä were dissolved due to the illness of Paul Lüönd, who died on April 3, 2014. Then the Mosi-Musig was founded. As an innkeeper on the Stoos, Daniel was rarely out and about, but picked up the instruments at his dining room in the Balmberg inn. The "Pfingstubete" took place there and still takes place under the direction of Mosi-Wysel. Now after his death, Daniel's son (David DJ Mosi) continues the business.

Private

Daniel Lüönd grew up with three brothers in Mosi in Ingenbohl in the canton of Schwyz . He learned to be a carpenter in Brunnen. Later he took over the Gasthaus Balmberg auf dem Stoos with his wife Elisabeth and worked as a host and cook. In 2011 the Mosi-Bar was opened there. Daniel Lüönd's son David, who also makes music with the Balmbergörgelern, took over the business before his father's death.
