Daniel Robert Jenky
Daniel Robert Jenky CSC (born March 3, 1947 in Chicago ) is Bishop of Peoria .
Life
Daniel Robert Jenky joined the religious community of the Congregation of the Holy Cross and was ordained a priest on April 6, 1974 .
Pope John Paul II named him Auxiliary Bishop in Fort Wayne-South Bend and Titular Bishop of Amantia on October 21, 1997 . The Bishop of Fort Wayne-South Bend, John Michael D'Arcy , ordained him Episcopal on December 16 of that year ; Co- consecrators were Agostino Cacciavillan , Apostolic Nuncio to the United States , and Charles Asa Schleck CSC, Official of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples .
He was named Bishop of Peoria on February 12, 2002, and initiated into office on April 10 of the same year.
