Daniel Lucas Segovia (born May 23, 1985 in Madrid ) is a Spanish football player .
Career
Segovia started his career at CD Dosa and moved to the youth department of Rayo Vallecano . In the 2004/05 season he was there for the first time in the first team. In the 2006/07 season he was loaned to CF Fuenlabrada . In 2007 he left Rayo Vallecano and joined the Real Zaragoza team. After a loan deal with FC Algeciras and changes to Club Atletico de Pinto, UB Conquense and Club Deportivo Atlético Baleares , he came to Austria and moved to the second division SKN St. Pölten .
He made his debut with the Lower Austrians on July 12, 2011 when he came on for Arno Kozelsky in the 70th minute of the game against Wolfsberger AC . After one and a half years in Sankt Pölten , he moved to Bundesliga club FC Admira Wacker Mödling in January 2013 .
The striker made his debut in the top Austrian division on February 16, 2013 against SC Wiener Neustadt when he came on for Bernhard Schachner in the 54th minute . The game ended in a 2-1 defeat. He scored his first two Bundesliga goals in a 4-3 win against FC Wacker Innsbruck on April 13, 2013.
In the last game of the season in 2013, Segovia scored the winning goal to win 1-0 against SV Mattersburg and thus secured Admira relegation.
The attacker then switched to league rivals Wolfsberger AC , and in July 2014 he returned to SKN St. Pölten .
In 2016 he was promoted to the Bundesliga with SKN St. Pölten . He left SKN St. Pölten in January 2017 after fighting for a penalty with his teammate Alhassane Keita in a test match.
In February 2017 he moved to Azerbaijan to Neftçi Baku .
