Daniel Sereinig (born May 10, 1982 in Wil ) is a former Swiss - Austrian football player and today's coach. Since 2016 he has been the coach of the U-23 team at FC Vaduz . From May to June 2017 he assisted the first team at Roland Vrabec's side .
Career
Daniel Sereinig was able to develop into a regular player at FC Schaffhausen and played almost all point games. He was previously under contract with FC St. Gallen and FC Wil 1900 . In 2007 he moved to Rot-Weiss Essen and developed into a leading player. Sereinig made 32 regional league appearances, but missed the qualification for the newly created 3rd league with Rot-Weiss Essen on the last day of the game and then left Germany after a year for Austria . There he played at SCR Altach . Sereinig made his debut in Austria on July 9, 2008 against SV Ried . In December 2008 he was given leave of absence from Vorarlberg and in January 2009 his contract was terminated. At the end of January 2009, he signed a contract with the German club SC Freiburg and was there to strengthen the relegation-threatened regional league team.
Sereinig quickly established himself in the regional league team and has been a regular since then. Once at the Freiburger Erstligamannschaft for the home game against 1. FC Köln on October 2, 2010 Pavel Krmaš and Heiko Butscher failed two central defender, Sereinig belonged as a substitute in the squad and came by Substitutes in the 84th minute for his debut in the German Bundesliga . This was followed by an assignment in the DFB Cup from the start and another short assignment in the first division.
For the second half of the 2010/11 season, Sereinig moved to Switzerland for FC Winterthur . The Challenge League club signed the veteran for a year and a half (with an option for another season).
In the summer of 2014, Sereinig moved to FC Schwarzach in Vorarlberg, where he worked as a player-coach.
