Georg Daniel Stocker (born July 9, 1865 in Stuttgart , † April 19, 1957 there ) was a German sculptor .

Life

Daniel Stocker was a student at the Art Academy in Stuttgart with Adolf von Donndorf . Study trips to Italy and France followed.

In 1904 he received the silver medal for tendons at the World Exhibition in St. Louis . On April 11, 1905, he received a visit from King Wilhelm II of Württemberg and his wife.

In 1915 he received the title of professor.

His younger brother was the sculptor Rudolf Stocker (1879–1949). Stocker - like his brother - the Stuttgarter Masonic Lodge Wilhelm to the rising sun on.
