Daniela Petrescu

Daniela Petrescu (born Bran; born April 13, 1968 ) is a former Romanian obstacle , long-distance and medium- distance runner .

At the World Cross Country Championships she came in 1994 in Budapest on place 67 and 1995 in Durham on place 85.

In 1998 she stayed on June 21 in Bucharest with 9: 55.28 minutes as the first woman over 3000 m obstacle under the ten-minute mark and won silver in the same discipline at the Goodwill Games .

In 2002 she finished 47th on the short distance at the Cross Country World Championships in Dublin and came second in the Bucharest Marathon.

She was twice Romanian champion in cross-country running (1995, 2002) and once each over 800 m (1990), 5000 m (1994) and over 3000 m obstacle (1998).
