Daniela Gustin (born May 11, 1994 in Backa , Sweden ) is a Swedish handball player who is under contract with the Danish first division club Horsens HK .
Career
Gustin started playing handball at the Swedish club Backa HK. The then youth national player moved in 2011 to the Swedish second division club Kärra HF , with whom she was promoted to the Elitserien a year later . After her boyfriend Hampus Wanne moved to the German Bundesliga club SG Flensburg-Handewitt , the outside player joined the German second division TSV Nord Harrislee in 2013 .
Gustin scored a total of 106 goals for Harrislee in the 2013-14 season. She then signed a contract with the German Bundesliga club Füchse Berlin . In the 2015/16 season she finished fifth in the Bundesliga scorers list with 161 goals. From summer 2016 she ran for the Danish first division club Randers HK. With Randers she won the Danish Cup in 2016. In the 2018/19 season she played for the German club SG BBM Bietigheim . In 2019 she won the German championship with Bietigheim. Then Gustin moved to the Danish first division team Horsens HK .
Daniela Gustin made her debut for the Swedish national team on October 7, 2016 . So far, the left-hander has played 33 games for Sweden, in which she scored 67 goals. She suffered a cruciate ligament rupture at the 2018 European Championships .
