Danko Bošković (born January 27, 1982 in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse ) is a German - Montenegrin football player .

Career

Bošković come from Bijelo Polje in Montenegro . He started his career in 2000 at 1. FC Kaiserslautern , but was mainly used in the second team. Via the intermediate station SV Wehen he came in 2005 to Rot-Weiss Essen and was instrumental in the revival in the 2nd Bundesliga involved.

So far, he has played 151 regional league games with 53 goals. For Essen he scored eight goals in 20 second division games. For the 2007/08 season he moved to SC Paderborn 07 , after the relegation of SCP he was initially without a club and signed a contract with third division club SV Sandhausen at the end of January 2009 , but moved to SV Wehen Wiesbaden at the end of the season . On December 20, 2011, he and his former Wiesbaden club mate Marko Kopilas started a trial training session at FC Carl Zeiss Jena . On January 19, 2012 Bošković signed a contract with FC Carl Zeiss Jena until the end of the season. On May 22, 2012 Bošković signed a two-year contract with VfL Wolfsburg, where he is planned for the reserve. After two years, Boskovic did not get a new contract in Wolfsburg and moved to the Regionalliga Südwest and signed a contract with TuS Koblenz until 2015 . After his contract in Koblenz expired, Boskovic moved to TuS Mechtersheim , where he acts as a player and assistant coach for the first team. With Mechtersheim he rose to the top league in 2016.

Danko Bosković is the cousin of Dragan Bogavac , who has been playing for Lokomotive Astana since 2011 .
