Dario Šimić [ ˈdaːriɔ ˈʃiːmitɕ ] (born November 12, 1975 in Zagreb ) is a former Croatian football player .

Dario Simic began his career at Dinamo Zagreb in 1992 and was five times Croatian champion and four times cup winner. In January 1999 he moved to Inter . After not winning any titles there for more than three years, he moved to city rivals AC Milan in the summer of 2002 .

National team

For the Croatian national team Šimić played 100 games and equalized on June 13, 2006 Robert Jarnis record. In 1998 he contributed to Croatia's success at the World Cup in France . He was also a member of the Croatian national team at the 2002 World Cup and the 2006 World Cup .
