Darrell Larson

Darrell Larson (born December 13, 1950 in Tracy , California ) is an American actor .

Life

Larson began his acting career in 1970. In the first two years he received guest roles in television series such as Bonanza and Dan Oakland , and he was also seen in a supporting role in Jack Lemmon's only directorial work, Grandpa Can't Avoid . In 1972 he played in the western The Death Ride of the Magnificent Seven . As a result, he did not succeed in asserting himself as the leading actor, but he was cast in supporting roles in the 1970s, among others, in the blockbusters Futureworld - The Land of Tomorrow and The China Syndrome . In the 1980s he played in smaller film projects, for example alongside Klaus Kinski in the B-movie Der Android and alongside Fred Ward in UFOria . In 1986 he got one of the leading roles in the CBS television series Morningstar / Eveningstar , which was canceled after seven episodes. From 1988 to 1989 he starred opposite Kate Mulgrew in the hospital series Heartbeat of Life . This was discontinued after 18 episodes. He worked in film and television until the end of the 2000s, his last television appearance he had in an episode of the crime series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in 2010. Larson is married to the screenwriter Susanna Styron , with whom he is second has two children. Another child emerged from the first marriage.
