The book is the Puhdys' twelfth album .

The album

The album was produced in 1984 and went on sale immediately afterwards. It was released as a long-playing record (8 56 039) and as a music cassette (056 039) by Amiga . As usual, the retail price of the LP was 16.10 marks .

The Puhdys numbered their albums, which is why the number 12 is on the cover next to the band name .

The book is a thoughtful album. There is a lot about peace in the Great ( I will not forget , the book ) and on a small scale ( peasant wedding , sleep with me ). Many songs are characterized by melodies, only a few can be counted as danceable music.

The title song is placed as the last title on page 1. It deals with the fear of nuclear war and its consequences for the people of the world. Shaped by the current zeitgeist (intensification of the Cold War , boycott of the Olympic Games in Moscow by many Western states, further increase in the arms race between the USSR and the USA ), with this title they succeed in an impressive warning of the escalation. The song ends hymnically with the support of the FDJ choir of EOS “Immanuel Kant” Berlin-Lichtenberg .

The cover, which was very progressive at the time, with a mixture of different motifs, also attracted a lot of attention.
