Dave Elsey
Dave Elsey (born February 9, 1967 in London , England ) is a British makeup artist who was awarded an Oscar .
Career
Dave Elsey was born in London and has lived in Australia since 1999 .
Elsey's career in the film business began in 1986 when he started working as a makeup artist for the film The Little Horror Shop . This was followed by artistic activities in the films for Hellraiser - The Gate to Hell , Death Machine , Mission: Impossible and its sequel Mission: Impossible II . For his artistic achievements in the film Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith , Elsey received a nomination for the best make-up at the 2006 Academy Awards . The award went to the team of the film The Chronicles of Narnia: The King of Narnia . After further work on Black Sheep , Ghost Rider and Where the Wild Things Are , he received his second Oscar nomination in 2011 for the film Wolfman .
