David Bennhage

David Bennhage (born December 28, 1982 ) is a Swedish football player . The defensive player, who was both a goalkeeper and a striker when he started his career in adult football , has played over a hundred games in the Superettan in his career to date .

Career

Bennhage comes from the youth of Trollhättans FK , for whom he made his debut as a goalkeeper in 1997 at the age of 15 in the first team. He later played for IF Leikin in the mid-amateur range, where he distinguished himself as a regular goalscorer, before he played for IK Oddevold as a goalkeeper and striker in trial training. After he finally changed clubs as a striker, he completed training in sports psychology and education in parallel to his football activities.

In 2007 Bennhage moved to the then third division club Ängelholms FF , with whom he rose to the second division at the end of the year. In his first season at the higher playing level supplementary player - he was only in the starting lineup in eleven of his 22 season appearances - he then established himself as a regular. In the 2009 season he played in all 30 games of the season and contributed to seventh place in the table with five goals this season. Two years later, a now reached the full-back retrained Bennhage with the team to Marcus Lindberg , Sebastian Andersson and Mikael Dahlgren as third in the table the relegation matches against third-bottom of the Allsvenskan , Syrianska FC from Södertälje . After Andersson and Johan Blomberg scored 2-1 in the first leg , Andersson also scored in the second leg. In January 2012 Bennhage left Ängelholms FF after four years and moved within the Superettan to the former first division club Ljungskile SK . At the side of Kenny Pavey , Richard Nilsson and Joakim Runnemo , he was immediately a regular under coach Tor-Arne Fredheim .
