Joakim Runnemo (born December 18, 1986 ) is a Swedish football player . The striker made two promotions to Allsvenskan with IF Brommapojkarna .

Career

Runnemo started playing football at Värmdö IF. He came to IF Brommapojkarna in 2002 through the youth department of Nacka FF . Here he first played in the youth teams of the club.

In 2005, Runnemo moved up to the men's team. In his first season for the club in the Superettan , he played 21 of the 30 season games, where he was twelve times in the starting line-up. In the second division season in 2006 he was able to establish himself as a regular player. With seven goals in 26 games this season, he contributed to reaching third place in the table, which entitled qualification for the relegation games for promotion to the first division against BK Häcken . After the first duel with the first division club ended with a 2-0 success, he scored the 2-1 winning goal in the second leg, which finally brought about the first promotion to the Swedish elite series.

On the first day of the 2007 season , Runnemo succeeded in the second minute of the game in the Stockholm local derby against Djurgårdens IF, the club's first first division goal, which was enough to win the season 1-0. However, this remained his only goal in the course of the season and at the end of the season he had to relegate to the second division with the team around players like Kristoffer Björklund , Albin Ekdal and Olof Guterstam as bottom of the table due to the poorer goal difference against Trelleborgs FF . There he scored nine goals in 29 games of the season, so that he reached the promotion games with the team again as third in the table. This time she prevailed after a 0-0 draw at home Grimsta IP and a 1-1 away draw thanks to the away goals rule against Ljungskile SK and celebrated the direct return to the House of Lords.

In the first division season of 2009 , Runnemo was in the starting line-up in almost half of the season's games, as he was temporarily out due to injury in the summer. With four goals this season, he contributed to the club's relegation as table twelfth. In the following year, however, he missed relegation with the team and announced his departure from the club shortly after relegation was established in view of an expiring contract.

In February 2011, Runnemo hired the second division club Ljungskile SK . Under coach Tor-Arne Fredheim he reached eighth place in the table with the team in his first season, behind the nine-time goalscorer Gabriel Altemark-Vanneryr he was with seven goals of the season at the end of the season in the club's internal goalscorer list tied with Alexander Mellqvist in second place. In the course of his second year he lost his regular place, but was still involved in reaching fifth place in the table with six goals.

At the turn of the year 2012/13, Runnemo left Ljungskile SK and hired third division club IK Sirius . He signed a two-year contract with the club, which was coached by his former IF Brommapojkarna coach, Kim Bergstrand .
