Kenny Pavey (born August 23, 1979 in London ) is an English football player . With AIK he won the double from the Swedish championship and national cup in 2009 .
Career
Pavey started playing soccer at Affenley FC . About Millwall FC , he moved to the youth division of Sittingbourne FC . At the sixth division he made his debut in 1997 in the professional team. Since a move to Aston Villa failed, he moved to Ljungskile SK in Sweden in autumn 1998 , where an English coach worked with David Wilson . There he established himself as a regular player. After the club was relegated to third-class Division 2 in 2000 , he initially remained loyal to the club. However, since the promotion was missed in the promotion games against Ängelholms FF , Pavey returned to England for Sittingbourne FC.
However, after a little over a year in England, Pavey returned to Sweden to join Ljungskile SK. After only the runner-up in the third division succeeded behind GAIS in 2003 , Pavey managed the third division championship with the team in the following season and prevailed in the promotion games against Väsby IK . After a year in the Superettan with LSK, AIK brought him to the Allsvenskan . Here, too, he was able to establish himself as a regular player before an injury slowed him down towards the end of his first season in the first division. He was also used regularly in the following seasons, although sometimes he only had to sit on the bench at the start of the game. In the 2009 season he contributed three goals this season in 19 games to the championship and was in the starting line-up in the cup final after the end of the season against IFK Göteborg , which ended with a 2-0 win thanks to goals from Mauro Iván Óbolo and Antônio Flávio . In December of that year he then extended his contract with the club for two years. While the club was in danger of relegation the following year and employed three coaches with master coach Mikael Stahre and after his move to Greece with Björn Wesström and Alex Miller in the course of the 2010 season , he was also a regular and managed to stay up with the club. In the following season he returned with the club in the top flight of the league. With 21 season appearances he was involved in third place in the table, but his contract was not extended.
In March 2012, the previously clubless Pavey joined his former club Ljungskile SK in the second division, where he signed a three-year contract.
