Jens Mikael Dahlgren (born July 19, 1984 in Landskrona ) is a Swedish football player . The defender made his debut in 2003 in the Allsvenskan .
Career
Dahlgren began playing football at Häljarps IF before moving to Landskrona BoIS as a youth player in early 1995 . There he moved up as a junior player in the professional squad and made his debut in the top Swedish league in 2003, but was only a supplementary player in the first few years. Only after relegation from the Allsvenskan at the end of the 2005 season - in the relegation games against the Gothenburg club GAIS they lost aggregate with 1: 2 - he became a regular player in the second-rate Superettan . At the side of Lee Baxter , Pontus Segerström , Jörgen Pettersson and Karl Corneliusson , he was on the field in 23 of the 30 season games in the 2006 second division season , but as fifth in the table, the club missed the direct return to the Swedish elite series. Although still regular strength, the club slipped into the bottom of the table in the following two years.
After his contract expired, Dahlgren moved to GAIS on a free transfer in early 2009. The previous head coach Magnus Pehrsson had pushed his transfer forward there, but had switched to the Danish club Aalborg BK before the start of the season and was replaced by Alexander Axén . Under this he did not get beyond the role of a supplementary player. After he had not played for the Gothenburg club in the first division since July of that year, he left the club in December towards Ängelholms FF in the Superettan. Here he was a regular player straight away and contributed to the fact that the club established itself in the second highest division. In the 2011 season, the club was just about to jump into the Allsvenskan, alongside Marcus Lindberg , Sebastian Andersson and Johan Blomberg he failed with the team in the relegation at Syrianska FC .
