David Cobeño Iglesias (born April 6, 1982 in Madrid ) is a former Spanish soccer goalkeeper who was most recently under contract with Rayo Vallecano in the Primera División .

Career

David Cobeño began his career in the youth of Rayo Vallecano . In 2000 he moved up from the youth, but was only used in the reserve team. In 2002 he left the club and went to SD Ponferradina . After a year he moved to Real Madrid , where he only played for the second team for three years . In 2006 he moved to Sevilla FC , for which he made his debut in the Primera División on March 18, 2007 against Celta Vigo . In the 2007/08 season he was awarded to the league rivals UD Almería . In July 2008, Cobeño moved back to Rayo Vallecano in the Segunda División . With the team of which he is the captain , he was promoted in the 2010/11 season . On May 24, 2009, he achieved a 1-0 lead in a 2-1 defeat by FC Elche from his own penalty area.
