David Levithan (2011)

David Benjamin Levithan (born September 7, 1972 in Short Hills ) is an American writer and editor.

biography

David Levithan graduated from Brown University in 1994 with B.A. (English, Political Science). He edited over 100 Star Wars books for Scholastic . Homosexuality is a central theme in Levithan's work, especially since he is gay himself .

Levithan is editor of the web magazine "PUSH", an anthology for young authors ( Patricia McCormick , Kevin Brooks , Chris Wooding , Markus Zusak , Brian James , Kristen Kemp, Eireann Corrigan and others) and teaches at the New School University Graduate School of Creative Writing in New York .
