Kevin Brooks

Kevin Brooks (born March 30, 1959 in Pinhoe near Exeter in the county of Devon , England ) is a British writer .

life and work

Kevin Brooks studied in Birmingham and London (B.A. in Cultural Studies, Aston University , 1983). For a long time he earned his living doing odd jobs and the like. a. as a gas station attendant, as a seller in the London Zoo and as an assistant in a crematorium . He played guitar in a punk rock band and wrote his own songs. Since the overwhelming success of his debut novel Martyn Pig , he is a freelance writer in Manningtree in the County of Essex . His novel iBoy was made into a film . He currently lives in Yorkshire , England.
