Dawson Walker
Dawson Walker (born March 14, 1916 in Dundee , † August 17, 1973 ) was a Scottish football coach.
career
Walker worked for Clyde FC . After the beginning of 1958 to joining parallel Manchester United as Scotland manager undertook Matt Busby in February of the year in disaster Munich Air had violated moved Walker on as national coach. His first game was a 4-0 defeat against England on the occasion of the British Home Championship , his first win came in a 2-1 win over Hungary in the last preparatory game for the 1958 World Cup . He was also responsible for the team during the tournament, but after two defeats and one draw they were eliminated from the bottom of the group. Then he handed over responsibility to the recovered Busby and moved back into the second tier.
