The district of Daxing (大兴 区; Pinyin : Dàxīng Qū) is a district in the south of the government-direct city of Beijing in the People's Republic of China . It has an area of ​​1036 km². In 1990 population censuses Daxin counted 523,597 inhabitants, 671,444 in 2000, and 1,365,112 in 2010.

The district is the location of Beijing Daxing Airport , which opened in September 2019. Construction started in 2014. The new airport was built to relieve the previous Beijing airport .
