The Deepwater River is a river in the Australian state of New South Wales .
It rises in Butterleaf National Park northwest of Glen Innes and flows west to the small town of Deepwater on the New England Highway . There it turns its course to the north and merges west of the Bluff River Nature Reserve with the Bluff River to the Mole River .
