Dejan Bućin

Dejan Bućin (* 1985 in Belgrade ) is a German actor .

Career

He completed his training in 2009 at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding . Before entering drama school, he played in two productions at the Schauspiel Frankfurt under the direction of Alexander Brill. During his training at the Munich Theater Academy, he received an engagement at the Berliner Ensemble . There he appeared in the world premiere of Shakespeare's Sonnets , directed by Robert Wilson , in 2009 . Furthermore he stood u. a. in Die Dreigroschenoper , Das Käthchen von Heilbronn , Oedipus auf Kolonos , In the Thicket of Cities , Hanns Eisler Revue , Der Parasit , Romeo and Juliet on the stage. The international attention paid to Wilson's productions of Shakespeare's sonnets and The Threepenny Opera gave Bućin the opportunity to perform on the stages of established theater festivals and the like. a. to perform in France, Italy, Norway, Brazil, Australia, Hong Kong, South Korea, the United States. He has been working as a freelance actor since 2012 and has appeared on various stages across Germany as well as in various film and television productions.

In 2014 he took part in the premiere and development of the play Common Ground at the Maxim Gorki Theater under the direction of Yael Ronen. The successful production was invited to several international festivals as well as to the Theatertreffen 2015 and in the same year received the audience award at the Mülheimer Theatertagen. In 2016 a further piece development followed with Ronen - " Point of no return " at the Münchner Kammerspiele , which dealt with the rampage in the Munich Olympic shopping center. The production received invitations to the Heidelberger Stückemarkt and the Autorentheatertage in Berlin in 2017 .
