The Delbrücker country is about 150 sq km landscape in North Rhine-Westphalia . It encompasses the area around the East Westphalian town of Delbrück and the municipality of Hövelhof in the Paderborn district between the Ems and Lippe rivers in the east of the Westphalian Bay and is roughly the elongated shape of a horse's head.

The flat Delbrücker Land is a break and heathland . The lowlands of the Upper Lippe and the Rietberger Ems are criss-crossed by a gentle, approximately 15-kilometer-long ridge (Delbrücker Ridge) consisting of loam and clay marl in an east-west direction. In the water-rich landscape lies the 82.6 hectare Steinhorster Becken nature reserve north of Steinhorst , an outstanding reserve for water birds.

The Delbrücker Land also includes the Ems, Furlbach , Untere Senne , Delbrücker Ridge , Delbrücker Schweiz , Rodehut , Haustenbach , Sporkhof and Moese conservation areas .

In terms of tourism, the Delbrücker Land is marketed as a region for bicycle tours .
