Delio Malär (* 1992 in Richterswil ) is a Swiss theater and film actor, musician and author .

Life

Delio Malär graduated from his recruit school in Switzerland . He plays several instruments and writes his own songs. Malär attended the Einsiedeln Abbey School , where he played theater and his first rock shows with his band.

After graduating from high school , he did an apprenticeship at the School for Drama in Hamburg from 2011 to 2015 and graduated with distinction. With his former acting teacher Cornelia Schirmer , he founded the theater collective Cocodello and wrote and composed several musicals with her , which premiered in Hamburg and toured in German-speaking countries. With his band Love Rockets he plays the rock show "Tag der Helden".

For his artistic achievements and successes in 2019, Malär was nominated for the Prix ​​Walo in the Newcomer category. The award ceremony would have taken place on May 10, 2020, but has been postponed indefinitely due to the Corona crisis.
