Denis Feix

Denis Feix (born October 22, 1975 in Werdohl ) is a German chef .

Career

After training, Feix went to the Waldhorn restaurant in Ravensburg in 1995 . In 1997 he moved to the three-star chef Dieter Müller in Bergisch Gladbach at Schloss Lerbach . In 1998 he went to Marcobrunn in Eltville-Erbach , in 1999 to the Résidence in Essen and in 2000 to Thomas Bühner's La Table in Dortmund. In 2001 he became master chef at the Dortmund Chamber of Commerce. He then went to Christian Bau as sous- chef in the Schloss Berg restaurant in Perl-Nennig and again in the Résidence in Essen from 2002–2006 .

From February 2006 he was head chef at Il Giardino at Columbia Hotels & Resorts in Bad Griesbach , where he was awarded a Michelin star in 2008 and 17 Gault Millau points in 2009 . In 2012 his restaurant was awarded the second star in the 2013 Guide Michelin. In May 2016 the Il Giardino restaurant was closed.

Since 2017 Denix Feix has been head chef of the Zirbelstube restaurant in the Hotel am Schlossgarten in Stuttgart , which has since been awarded a Michelin star.
