Dennis Dun

Dennis Gong Dun (born April 19, 1952 in Stockton , California ) is an American actor .

Life

Dun began his film career in 1985 alongside Mickey Rourke in Michael Cimino's In The Year of the Dragon . The following year, he starred alongside Kim Cattrall and Kurt Russell in one of the leading roles in John Carpenter's Big Trouble in Little China . Carpenter cast Dun again in his next feature film, The Princes of Darkness . In 1987 he was in Bernardo Bertolucci's nine Oscars winning epic film The Last Emperor to see.

From 1988 to 1991 he played alongside Gary Cole in 61 episodes of the television series The Night Falcon . After the series ended after three seasons, Dun's career stalled. Although he still received guest roles in series, his film appearances became rarer and the roles smaller. In 1995 he played alongside Jessica Alba and Morgan Fairchild in Venus Rising .
