Lapenty is a French municipality with 369 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Manche in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Avranches and is part of the canton of Saint-Hilaire-du-Harcouët . The inhabitants are called Parignais .

geography

Parigny is about 27 kilometers east-southeast of Avranches . The river Sélune limits the municipality to the north. Lapenty is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Milly in the north, Villechien in the east, Saint-Symphorien-des-Monts in the southeast, Moulines in the south and southwest, Saint-Hilaire-du-Harcouët in the west and Parigny in the west.
